INFORMATION ON REGISTRATION and HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

 

The payment arrangements for the EUROSLA 2006 conference will be handled by Sipahiler Tourism Agency. Therefore the registration and hotel accommodation fee must be paid directly to them.

REGISTRATION

· The registration rates are as follows:

 

 

 

 

 

· The registration fee includes the annual EUROSLA membership fee (40 euro for full members and 25 euro for student members). Those who will register for this conference will automatically become a member of EUROSLA for 2006 and they will receive a copy of the previous year’s Conference Yearbook (EUROSLA 2005).

· All presenters and attendees are required to register.

· Students must send us a copy of their student ID cards either through an e-mail attachment (eurosla@sipahiler.com.tr) or by fax (00-90-212-345 10 31) (to the attention of Berna Ekeman)

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

· Reservations can be made in one of the hotels listed in the table below. Reservations at the alternative hotels are based on room availability. We suggest you make your reservation as soon as possible.

· The hotel rates listed below are valid until May 15, 2006.

· The rates given below include Bed & Breakfast.

· If you would like to have lunch and/or dinner at “the conference hotel” and attend the conference dinner, please indicate it in the registration form below.

· CONFERENCE DINNER will be held on Friday, September 15, 2006 at the conference hotel. The dinner will be a special event with famous 1001 Night Show. We will celebrate a Turkish Night with folk dancers, mehter takimi, belly dancing, along with a superb Turkish dining experience that includes a fixed dinner menu and unlimited local alcoholic drinks.

Alternative Hotels

PAYMENT

· Payments for registration and hotel accommodation can be made in two different ways: by credit card or money (bank) transfer. Please fill out the form below and send it through e-mail (eurosla@sipahiler.com.tr) or by fax (00-90-212-345 10 31) (to the attention of Berna Ekeman) by May 15, 2006.

· An e-mail message will be sent to you confirming your registration and hotel accommodation within two weeks.

Credit Card Payments

· Please note that in credit card payments, the total amount you pay will be withdrawn from your account by May 31, 2006 the latest.

 

Money (bank) Transfers

· In bank transfers, make sure that your last name, first name, and the name of the conference clearly appear in your bank transaction receipts. This information is necessary for us to be able to keep track of the sender of the payment.

· Please e-mail (eurosla@sipahiler.com.tr) or fax (00-90-212-345 10 31) (to the attention of Berna Ekeman) a copy of the bank receipt (showing that you have made the payments).

· Please send the total amount in Euro, net of all bank charges (both your bank and the local bank in Turkey might charge a transaction fee; check with your bank for the commission rates).

CANCELLATION POLICY

· All payments must be received by May 15, 2006.

· The cancellation policy for registration fee and hotel reservation is as follows:

 

 

 

 

 

Travel Insurance:

 

· The Turkish Government does not require travel insurance for visitors. However, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance in your own country for your trip to Turkey.

 

OPTIONAL CITY TOURS (organized by Sipahiler Tourism Agency)

1. ANTALYA Tour

Date            : Saturday, 16 September

Time            : 14:30-20:00

Tour Sites    : Perge-Aspendos-Side

Price            : 56 euro (per person)

 

2. ISTANBUL Tour

Date         : Sunday, 17 September

Time         : 9:00-18:00

 Tour Sites  : Ayasofya (Saint Sophia), Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque), Kapalı Carşı (Grand Bazaar), Boat Tour along the Bosphorus, Mısır Çarsısı (Spice Bazaar).     

  Price        : 245 euro per person (price includes the tour, one night accommodation at a 4-star hotel, transport from/to the airport/hotel and lunch). Please note that the airfare from Antalya to Istanbul is not included in this price. 

Notes

· All tours will depart with a minimum number of 20 people. Deadline for the sign-up and payment is June 30, 2006 and no refunds will be granted for tour cancellations after August 15, 2006.

· Full refund will be provided in case tours are cancelled.
